Strike: The Wretched Eye

The Splicers’ High Priest has crews pushing further underground in the Plaguelands. Looks like a large-scale mobilization against a Hive nest.

An army of Hive controlled by the Splicers would be the end of Old Russia. Could be the end of everything. The Devils are evolving. Neutralize them before this goes any further, Guardian.

In this encounter, players must defeat the boss while avoiding a rampaging Ogre. The ogre will become increasingly aggressive as damage is inflicted on the boss, but will only target one player at a time. The boss will teleport to one of four locations depending on the percentage of its remaining HP: the front of the arena in an open area, the rear of the arena behind a column, or either the left or right side of the arena, also behind a column.

Splicer Vandals and Dregs will enter the arena at fixed HP intervals, as will Repeater Shanks that descend from the upper reaches of the silo in which the fight takes place. Note that the ogre cannot be killed or harmed in any way, so it is recommended that one player be designated as a target for the Ogre's aggression in order to keep it away from the rest of the fireteam.

The boss itself possesses a radial area-of-effect melee attack that is triggered by proximity as well as a concentrated gaze-based attack that is functionally identical to that of an Ogre.
